And according to the immutable laws of the universe that guide our planet and the stars and the tides, that means it is time for you to receive your cosmically ordained gift of a Christmas album from Merkel and the Merkelettes! Don't get too cocky, it's not something you earn; neither your naughtiness nor your niceness have any bearing on its arrival. It's just a physical fact of space and time that can not be avoided or stopped. Make of it what you can. We'll cross paths again in a year's time, if we've not all suffered a quick but horrible demise due to the death of the star that through sheer coincidence provided the necessary conditions for us to exist to begin with!
